The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 secured second place with its impressive off-road grip, recording the fastest times on dirt tracks. It excelled in snow performance, leading the braking tests and ranking second in handling. The tire also demonstrated strong resistance to aquaplaning and maintained reasonable noise levels at moderate speeds. Its firm construction, however, created challenges over rough terrain and bumps, both on and off the road. The KO2 struggled in dry conditions, showing the longest braking distances and noticeable understeer in wet handling. Though one of the older models in the lineup, the KO2 remains a strong contender, particularly in off-road and snowy conditions. While its on-road performance was not the best, it delivered a capable and balanced option for mixed use.

Given their rigid profile and aggressive tread pattern the BFG KO2s did well, outperforming the score of the previous generation in similar tests. They were surprisingly quiet on asphalt, but their braking performance wasn’t on par. Braking on gravel was excellent, yet slightly uncontrolled, according to Gerhard. Its stiff sidewalls also compromised it in terms of traction on dirt and gravel, and in loose sand.
